17 Aug Emmet – Chalmers Firefighters Help with Buddy Program
MACOMB, IL — On Monday, August 17, Emmet – Chalmers Firefighters helped the McDonough County Sheriff’s Office Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) with their annual Buddy Program at Walmart. The FOP hosts this back to school event every year to help families get school supplies and clothing for the new school year. Families shopped with law enforcement officers from the McDonough County Sheriff’s Office and Macomb Police Department.
Firefighters from Emmet – Chalmers and Blandinsville helped out as well. Firefighters served food and showed off trucks and equipment after families had completed their back to school shopping.
