Equipment - Brush 8

Brush 8 is a 1993 Ford F-350 4x4 with an Alexis slide in tank and pump. With the four wheel drive, we are able to get this truck into places that are too difficult to get the large trucks through. This truck is the first to respond to brush/grass fires.

Once the pump is running, firefighters can utilize the front bumper or the booster reel and forestry hose to attack the fire while the driver drives along the edge of the fire.

The slide in features a 300 gallon tank and an 18 hp pump. All nozzles have a low flow feature that conserves water when needed. We also carry an assortment or brush equipment; shovels, rakes, chainsaw, water backpack as well as a foam pack.
