Equipment - Engine 10

Engine 10 is our front line engine. It is a 2004 Pierce Contender with a Kensworth T300 chassis and top mount pump. The engine tops out at 315hp and complements a 1250gpm inline pump. With a FoamPro system and a 30 gallon foam cell we are able to use Class A foam at any time on the 3 preconnects. It also carries a 5k watt generator with several mounted and portable lights. For the cold winters, Engine 10 is also equipped with heat shields as well as a pump heater.

What makes this Engine a little unique is the preconnected front mounted hard suction hose. This can quickly deploy to make drafting from a portable water source easy. We also store 970ft of 5 inch LDH for the times where we are able to tap a hydrant or need to transfer water longer distances.

Our attack lines are 1 x 3/4in preconnect/trashline on the front bumper of the truck, 2 x 1 3/4in preconnects on the center and 1 x 2 1/2 line off the rear with a TfT Blitzfire monitor attached for quick deployment to cover exposures. We also carry an extra 400ft of 2 1/2in plus extra 1 3/4 hose and several nozzles. This engine is also equipped with an Elkhart monitor on top of the truck that can easily be removed and put on its portable base if needed.
