The Emmet - Chalmers Fire Protection District is campaigning to raise funds toward the purchase of a new pumper truck. This new truck will replace our existing pumper truck that is now 20 years old. We are to receive an Illinois First grant for $ 150,000.00. However, a new truck, fully equipped, will cost the district $205,000.00. We are asking for donations to help us raise money to meet our fire protection needs.
Our goal is to raise $50,000.00.
A fund has been established at First Federal Bank, 430 W. Jackson Street, in Macomb. Donations may be sent to the Emmet - Chalmers Fire Protection Fund at First Federal Bank or mailed to the Emmet - Chalmers Fire Protection District, P. O. Box 243, Macomb, IL 61455.
