The Emmet-Chalmers Fire Protection District is proud to present the newest addition to their fleet, Engine 10. After years of anticipation, Engine 10 was delivered only one night before the Macomb Heritage Days Parade. For it's maiden run, it drove the parade route with special guests, graduates from Western High, waving to the on-lookers.
Engine 10 is a Pierce Contender fire truck built on a 4-door Kenworth chassis. Features of the Engine 10 include: 1000 gallon booster tank, 1250 gallon per minute pump, top mounted pump operators panel, deluge discharge, foam system, seating for 5 firefighters, and a 5000 watt PTO generator with scene lights. Engine 10 is also equipped with a full complement of hoses, nozzles, tools and other firefighting equipment.
