The Emmet - Chalmers Fire Protection District

We are a volunteer department with 17 firefighters and 5 trucks. We are part of MABAS division 55.

From the West Adams Road station, the department covers an area west of the City of Macomb, Illinois. The department responds to fires, accidents, assists hospital paramedics, and provides mutual aid to other area fire departments.

The firefighters have at least two meetings each month. There is a ECFPD Firefighters Association meeting on the first Tuesday at 6:00 pm., an ECFPD Trustee meeting the second Tuesday, and Firefighter Trainings are on the third and fourth Tuesdays at 6:00 pm. Plus, additional trainings opportunities are scheduled frequently.

Our station is located at 3041 West Adams Road, just west of Macomb Illinois, home of Western Illinois University.

Please come to a meeting on the first Tuesday of the month at 6pm or at 5:45pm on any regularly scheduled Tuesday trainings.
