• October 2011 - New Station Sign

  Several volunteers from Emmet-Chalmers Fire Protection District renovated and built a new sign area for the station on West Adams Road. Complete with lighting and space for messaging it is a welcome sight to the area.

  "We've had many great compliments from passer bys thus far," Chief David Estes explained. "Its also a great way to communicate with our general constituents for fire safety reminders as well as important notices."

  "We would also like to thank everyone that spent many weekends worth of time and materials to put toward this project. It really shows the pride our volunteers take in their department."
