13 Dec Emmet – Chalmers Firefighters and Santa collect for families in need
MACOMB, IL — On Saturday, December 13, 2014, Emmet – Chalmers Firefighters chauffeured Santa Claus to collect items for families in need. This is the third year Santa has helped the Firefighters. Santa traveled to Georgetown and Meadowbrook, stopping to greet residents and take photos. Firefighters had a great time taking Santa around the neighborhoods, collecting a truckload of items.
Santa traveled in a brand new sleigh this year, thanks to Emmet – Chalmers Firefighters and the WIU Veterans Club. The sleigh was pulled by a brand new truck. Santa was very happy.
