03 Dec iNWS User Community System Alert — Update #2
iNWS User Community: Message #2 : The iNWS servers are being upgraded – the transition to the new servers is now scheduled for January 5th. The new systems are running and testing will continue. However, we have decided that it would be prudent to wait until after the holidays to implement this change. As a reminder: iNWS services will remain the same and no modifications should be required by most users. A few changes to note that will occur after the upgrade: — Email alerts will now come from inws.alerts@noaa.gov. — The web address for the main iNWS interface will change to inws.ncep.noaa.gov. — Text messages will still use the 56149 user code. If you experience a problem, please contact us at inws.support@noaa.gov. We will provide an another update around January 1. iNWS Team
