19 Jul Firefighter Michael White
It is with deep regret that the Emmet – Chalmers Fire Protection District announces the passing of Firefighter Michael White on July 18, 2020. Firefighter White was riding with the Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club in Texas when a car crossed the center line and struck several motorcycles. Two other members, Joseph Paglia and Jerry Wayne Harbour, were also killed in this tragic accident.
Firefighter White started with the Emmet – Chalmers Fire Protection District in 2018 while attending Western Illinois University. He was also a Community Service Officer for the Niles Police Department and served his country in the U. S. Army.
